Connect to an Obseron server

Connect to an Obseron server to view its recordings and live cameras. Connecting to servers does not require a license. Once you connect to a server you can open its cameras as if the cameras were connected locally. Buttons are also received from Obseron servers and you can add them to widgets on client. It is possible to be connected to multiple servers simultaneously.

Adding a connection from Discovered servers

1. Go to Menu > Settings > Remote Connections
2. Add selected servers.
3. The Obseron server is now added and appears to the list on the left under the Remote Connections header. Access its settings by clicking it from the list.
4. Fill in the Username and Password. The user has to exist on the server.
5. Click Connect.
6. The opening dialog window will ask you to verify that the fingerprint matches the one on the server. If you trust this server, click Accept.
7. The Obseron server is now connected. If you want to automatically connect to this server when starting Obseron (client), check Connect automatically.

Adding a connection manually

1. Go to Menu > Settings > Remote Connections
2. Click the + icon.
3. Fill in the IP address, Username and Password. The user has to exist on the server.
4. Click Connect.
5. The opening dialog window will ask you to verify that the fingerprint matches the one on the server. If you trust this server, click Accept.
6. The Obseron server is now connected. If you want to automatically connect to this server when starting Obseron (client), check Connect automatically.
