Remote access from an external network or the Internet

To remotely access Obseron from an external network or the Internet, we strongly recommend a VPN solution.

If a VPN solution is not possible, a direct connection must be created. As networks are all different, we cannot instruct all possibilities. A connection can be established with a static public facing IP address or from behind a NAT with port forwarding.

The Obseron remote server uses port TCP 9191 by default, this can be customized.
The web server uses ports 80 and 443 by default, these can also be customized.
