Add a camera

Add camera from Discovered cameras

1. Make sure your camera is connected to the same network as the recorder.
2. Go to Menu > Settings > Cameras and see Discovered cameras.
   
3. Select the camera you would like to add by clicking it.
4. Click Add selected.
5. The camera gets added to the list on the left side. Click it to access its settings.
6. Fill in Username and Password fields in the General > Connection settings.
   
7. Click Connect.
8. Now you should be receiving image stream from the camera.

Add camera manually

Some cameras might need manual adding if they are not discovered automatically.

1. Make sure your camera is connected to the same network as the recorder.
2. Go to Menu > Settings > Cameras.
3. Click + icon in the lower left corner of the window.
4. Select the camera type and the number of cameras to add.
5. The camera is added to the list. Click it to access its settings.
6. Fill in empty fields in the General > Connection settings.
7. Click Connect.
8. Now you should be receiving image stream from the camera.

Tip

Obseron supports most cameras. In some cameras a user needs to be created in the camera's own settings for the connection to work. Access the camera's own settings by entering its IP address into the address field of your preferred browser. Some cameras need Internet Explorer to work correctly.
