A tab is an independent part of the window which provides an easy access to camera images and widgets. A window can contain multiple tabs.
Add
Add a tab by clicking on the + icon on the right side of the tabs, or by using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+T.
Arrange
You can arrange the tabs by dragging them while holding the left mouse button.
Close
Remove a tab by right-clicking the tab and selecting Close Tab from the context menu, or by using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+W.
Rename
Rename a tab by right-clicking the tab and selecting Rename from the context menu.
Duplicate tab
Duplicate a tab by right-clicking the tab and selecting Duplicate tab from the context menu.
Pin to all users
The Administrator user can pin tabs to all users by selecting Pin to All Users from the context menu. If a tab is pinned, it can not be closed, but it can be arranged.
Share
You can share a tab with other users by selecting Share from the context menu. Other users can now find the tab in their Shared Tabs menu when they create new tabs.
Using tab switcher
Start the automatic tab switcher by clicking Menu > Tabs > Start Tab Switcher. You can change the switch interval in Menu > Settings > Interface > Tab switcher interval (sec). The default interval is 5 seconds. Stop the switcher by clicking Menu > Tabs > Stop Tab Switcher.
Export/Import
Tabs can be exported and imported between windows.
Export
- Select Menu > Tabs > Export Tabs.
- From the window that opens, select the save location.
- From the window that opens, select tabs to be exported and click OK.
Import
- Select Menu > Tabs > Import Tabs.
- From the window that opens, select the preferred .ionview file.
- From the window that opens, select tabs to be imported and click OK.
