PTZ controls

PTZ cameras have a small icon in front of the camera name. The PTZ function must be enabled from the settings: Menu > Settings > Cameras > [camera name] > PTZ > Enable PTZ.

Turn camera

A PTZ camera can be controlled by dragging the mouse pointer across the camera image, by pressing directional buttons on a keyboard, or with a joystick.

Zoom camera

The scroll wheel of the mouse controls the camera’s optical zoom. In recordings zooming in and out is always digital. A crosshair appears on the image showing + when zooming in and - when zooming out. Numeric keypad + and - can also be used to control the zoom in PTZ cameras. To zoom in digitally on a PTZ camera, hold Ctrl while scrolling with the mouse wheel.

Call preset

1. Right-click the camera image.
2. Select PTZ > Presets
3. Select the desired preset.
   

Save preset

1. Right-click the camera image.
2. Select PTZ > Presets > Save PTZ Preset
3. Select the desired preset location.
4. Enter a name for the preset.
   

Call Patrol

1. Right-click the camera image.
2. Select PTZ > Patrol
3. Select the desired Patrol. Patrol start and Patrol number icons will appear in the bottom of the image.

To stop the Patrol round, select the same Patrol again or click the Patrol icon.

Save Patrol

1. Right-click the camera image.
2. Select PTZ > Patrol > Edit Patrol
3. Select the desired Patrol.
4. Enter a name for this Patrol.
5. Add presets to the list with the right arrow button.
6. Change the time for each preset by right-clicking the preset.
7. Save Patrol.
